Wednesday (05/20/09)Hello there, I'm gonna cut down to the chase and introduce you to my current fandom. Fandoms that has been making me look a rabid fangirl in my very own abode.
1. Zachary Quinto / Chris Pine Bromance - Blame the recent Star Trek movie. At first I was just fangirling over Zach baby now I am fangirling on the both of them and my PC is about crash because I downloaded tons of their pictures and youtube videos. Together.
I squealed like an idiot when I finished watching this.
2. Kirk / Spock Romance - Step over Uhura because I don't think this pairing is gonna be beaten. I've been reading tons of fanfics of them and I totally can see this being canonized. Yes, Spock can only pon farr on Kirk. Period. If you are into the pairing then GO HERE.
3. Korean Music - Right
now I am listening to BigBang, 2N31, Cherry Filter, Eve and Super Junior but
currently I 'm going ga-ga over G-Dragon, TOP and V.I of BigBang and 2N31. If

Geekery and Cosplay Plans
Tuesday (05/12/09)Last May 9, 2009. Me
and a couple of friends watched Star Trek. I watched it
verjill , seedsop and stryderranulf .
I am not really a Star Trek fan though I watched it before. The movie was epic
and I want to watch it again. When I say again I mean AGAIN!! I am not gonna
ramble more about it because I don't want to spoil people and I have the
tendency to spoil people.
All I can say is, Zachary Quinto as Spock is HOT
. Jason Cho as Zulu is epic. And
Chekov? Ahhhhh *smiles*. Scotty was awesome too and yeah Bones? Seriously that
guy, he is just made out of love.
It is so obvious that I can't get over this movie because I am still farking
raving and fangirling over it.
It's gonna last for like two weeks, trust me and
after watching the movie, it makes me wanna seat down and watch the whole effing
series again just to refresh my memory. Too bad Chepot was
not able to join us then again, she would not want to because Star Trek is not
her thing. It's okay Uke I still love you. I mean I don't fancy Star Wars anyway
^^;;
Come to think of it, I prefer plates than glowing rods.
After the movie, we all headed to Cafe Breton and ate some snacks though it
looked like dinner for stryderranulf and seedsop ,
LOL. We talked for awhile, left and then verjill has to go. Just went to
Globelines for GCash only to find that Gcash was effing down so nevermind. Then
we all went home. I was still having a nerdgasm over it when I arrived home.

ZOMG!!! I need to start preparing for my cosplay on Toycon this coming June
13 and 14!!! MUST!!! MUST!!!! I need to buy the wig now!!! Yes, what I'm gonna
cosplay on Toycon is my DREAM COSPLAY
hopefully I will make it if not...
there is always another time but still... anyway~~~ yeah must work on it ASAP!!!

I always chose the characters that I cosplay. That is why I don't cosplay all the time. Not because there is a new anime I will cosplay a character from that anime. I want the characters I cosplay will suite my personality and my build. A character I know I can carry.
Oh well, I just hope I pull this off.

I used to
listen to Pop music a lot and mainstream music. During High School my favorite
artists were Britney Spears (I KNOW AND DON'T ASK WHY!!!), Steps, Spice
Girls, Backstreet Boys, Take That etc.
Yes I listen
to those. Those were the in-thing during that time. When it comes to Japanese
music, my fandom was limited to, yes anime music and my favorite singers were
the seiyuus at that time. I still can tolerate novelty song at that time and I
would even sing them in the shower.
It was college when I started listening to rock. It was
alternative rock and then it became grunge and progressive rock. I also started
to get-over my seiyuu fandom and I started listening to JPOP artists like
Hamasaki Ayumi and Utada Hikaru and Jrock artists like L'Arc-en-Ciel and Glay.
As time goes by, I listen less to pop and novelty songs to the point I run away
from them and my ears bleed just listening to them.

Britney and her genre went down the drain. I listen to more rock and more rock!
Right now, I
am a metal fan. I still listen to Jpop artists but I found my music folders full
of Visual Kei artists and Metal music. Pop is still there but I am very picky on
the artist. You won't catch me dead listening to Britney. Sorry.
I guess my
being an otaku changed my taste in music, I seldom listen to English music. I
listen to Japanese and Korean music more now but the genre ranges to pop-rock
and metal.
Dance music for me is okay but yeah I am also very picky with that. I am fine with R&B since most of the time you can dance to it. You can say I'm eclectic when it comes to music. So how about you? Did your taste in music change at all?
